We were overjoyed to hear that Rishi Kapoor is coming back to India by the end of March after being in the USA for medical treatment for over six months now. It has been speculated that he was battling with cancer but there were no confirmations about the same from the Kapoor Khandaan. However, yesterday Neetu Kapoor shared a picture with the caption “One of the Quintet leaves !! Will miss you @rimosky 🤗 will soon be on the same flight back 🤞🙏,” hinting that the couple will be back home soon.
Turns out, there might be a very special reason for Rishi Kapoor’s return to India – to fix Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding date. The Bhatt and Kapoor families, who’ve gotten along like a house on fire, and have been spotted chilling together on various occasions, are reportedly looking for an auspicious mahurat as soon as possible. A Bollywood news portal reported that “The Bhatts and Kapoors will meet a pandit together to zero down on some auspicious dates for the shaadi and one of those dates will be finalised. There is loose talk that the Pandit meeting date has been fixed up for April. Fair enough, considering that Rishi is returning from the US, post his treatment, only in March-end.”
On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir will soon be seen together in Bhramastra, the movie that got them together in the first place! The logo of the movie was launched at the Kumbh Mela earlier this week and the movie will hit theatres on the 20th of December, 2019.
