#TBT When Priyanka Chopra Hinted At Her Relationship With Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan, a.k.a. “The King Khan of Bollywood,” has been scandal-free. Well, for the most part. The biggest controversy surrounding him, however, has to be his alleged extramarital affair with Priyanka Chopra. While many SRK fans are in denial, there have been several incidents that have added fuel to the fire. It turns out that Priyanka once unwittingly even confirmed her relationship with SRK.

Shah Rukh and Priyanka first worked together in Farhan Akhtar’s action film Don in 2006. They also appeared in the film’s sequel, which was released in 2011. During this time, the couple made headlines for their growing closeness. From PeeCee turning cheerleader for SRK’s IPL team to their casual outings, they didn’t mind being spotted in public together. Rumours of their alleged affair quickly spread online.

When Priyanka Chopra Almost Confirmed Dating Shah Rukh Khan

In 2021, Priyanka appeared on Laura Brown’s video series called Dirty Laundry. She showed off a brown leather jacket and shared, “I was a little unsure about this one, whether I should (get it or not). But your show is called Dirty Laundry, so I thought might as well. This is a jacket that I literally live in. It’s my airport jacket, but it belonged to an ex-boyfriend.”

This didn’t escape the netizens’ eagle eyes. They were quick to point out that the jacket looked suspiciously similar to one worn by SRK in the past. It did not end there. Later, Priyanka liked a tweet that said, “OMG Priyanka Chopra might have just told the world about her relationship with Shah Rukh Khan.” However, she un-liked the tweet hours later.

When Priyanka Took A Jibe At SRK 

Obviously, rumours of Shah Rukh Khan‘s affair caused quite a stir in Mannat. According to reports, Gauri Khan warned her husband not to work with Priyanka again. PeeCee and SRK are no longer on speaking terms due to this tittle-tattle. Recently, Priyanka took a jibe at the superstar in an interview while promoting her web series, Citadel.

A reporter asked her while quoting Shah Rukh Khan, “So many actors who have come, Hollywood just wastes them. So many desi actors like Shah Rukh Khan say, ‘why should I go there (Hollywood), I’m comfortable here.” To this, PC replied, “Comfortable is boring for me.” She further added, “I’m not cocky, I’m confident. When I go on set, I know what I am doing. I am ready to audition, I am ready to work. When I move to another country, I do not carry the burden of my success in one country.”

When it comes to B-town gossip, there is no end to it. Even if the rumours are true, we’re relieved that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan are doing well and that Priyanka Chopra is continuing to thrive in her own space!
