Priyanka Chopra Loves This Baby Product & I See Why

Priyanka Chopra’s advice is always spot-on, especially when it comes to skincare. I recently discovered something while watching one of her DIY videos, and I think it’s going to save my life and hair all at the same time. I promise it doesn’t require you to change your hair-care routine too much; with the exception of one product. Check it out!

What Is P.C.’s Piece Of Advice Anyway?

Priyanka begins by showing us the contents of her go-to mask for the hair. Chopra, then, suggests rinsing it off with (warm) water or shampoo. Not the kind you think but something gentler and milder on the hair and specifically formulated for the youngest amongst us — babies.

I’m talking baby shampoo. There’s a reason why those with delicate, brittle hair trade in their ‘adult’ shampoos for these ones. I’m going to tell you why.

Why Baby Shampoo Is A Hair Saver

Think about it. A newborn’s scalp is sensitive and delicate. That’s why these products are formulated with care and caution; so as to not cause any reaction on their skin.

These shampoos don’t contain parabens, sodium laurel sulfate, and other such chemicals; all notorious for drying, breaking, and damaging the hair over time. They even have lower pH levels; making them less likely to irritate or inflame the scalp. This is why those with severe hair loss and breakage favour these shampoos over normal ones.

Since they’re inherently gentle, you can turn to them much more frequently than commercial, adult shampoos without worrying about them stripping your strands of moisture. This is especially beneficial for those who have oily, greasy hair and would like to clean their scalps of build-up quickly.

Just like any other shampoo, you massage it into your scalps and strands for a couple of minutes before following it up with a gentle, non-irritating conditioner. That’s how easy it is. Here are some reccos for you to add to your wishlist.

Thanks, P.C! I’m switching to baby shampoos ASAP.
