If you’re a punjabi, then you surely won’t deny the importance of chooda and kaleeras in your bridal jewellery box. After all, nothing matches the beauty of a punjabi bride when her wrists are decked with gorgeous chooda and kaleera set, also known as bridal chura. So for some epic Punjabi bridal inspo, we spotted awesome photos of bride Sahej Pasricha, shot by Color Blind Production whose bridal chura matched her pink bridal lehenga and came with lovely chura design! Yes, they even came with attached tassels!
The adorable and super creative bride Sahej Pasricha runs a lifestyle studio called The Fairy Dust Studio. She is an art lover, which reflected in her jewellery choice as well i.e. her bridal chura, as well.
For her wedding day, Sahej opted for a simple kundan necklace and paired it with a statement maang tika and stunning jhumkas. Adding to her colour coordinated outfit was her gold bridal chura, complete with baby pink tassels, which had us happily surprised. To match her elaborate chura design, makeup artist Namrata Soni kept her look simple yet elegant, with just a touch of blush and a matte lip.
If you are looking to wear statement bridal chura sets, just as bride Sahej did, then Mrinalini Chandra would be a great brand to experiment with. The jewellery designer is well known for her made-to-order kaleera design that has a playful edge to them.
We are in love with the gold plated pearl chain bridal chura, from Ra’abta (Rs 35,500). It would be an ideal choice for your shaadi day, don’t you think?
