Although we adore all of the GenZ B-town gals, there is something special about the ’90s and ’00s actresses like Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and others. These actresses taught us to what authentic Bollywood is and so hold a special place in many people’s hearts. Not just in acting, but it appears that these renowned actresses are also fashionably ahead of the GenZ girls! Preity Zinta recently proved this by posting a reel of herself on Instagram dressed as Barbie. While the ongoing Barbie craze has taken over the internet, we believe it is time to put an end to it because Preity has clearly won the game!
On August 1, Preity posted her Barbie reel and we haven’t been able to stop playing it on a loop! She looks gorgeous in a pink ruffle dress that is adorable beyond words. The bubblegum pink dress featured a black criss-cross neckline and made Preity look like stunning cotton candy! The Barbie dress was from the shelves of Monsoori, a label owned by Bahraini Haute Couture designer Shaima Al Mansoori. The brand that caters to women who are effortlessly chic and feminine, has a huge collection of tulle dresses.
Preity completed the look with pink shimmery heels that perfectly matched the vibe! In the video, Preity is seen posing on a satin pink bed with a matching vintage telephone. She captioned, “Channeling my inner Barbie! Did this fun shoot some time ago and couldn’t resist posting it after seeing #Barbie this weekend. LOVED the movie and the fact that the theatre was mostly pink! So much fun watching a movie after so long.”

NGL, but out of all the Barbie looks that we have been seeing in the last month, this one is definitely our favourite. Even at the age of 48, Preity Zinta proved that she can literally give the GenZ fashion gworls a run for their money!
