Did Prabhas Yell At ‘Adipurush’ Director ‘Coz Of Audience Reaction?

The moment you open your social media, there is a new attack on Adipurush. From the film’s colloquial dialogues to VFX to allegations of plagiarism, there is something new to discuss every day. It appears that even the lead star Prabhas isn’t pleased with how the film turned out to be. At least, that’s what a viral video of the actor screaming at filmmaker Om Raut suggests.

Right after the film’s teaser launch, it became fodder for trolls on social media. The response to the video was underwhelming, to say the least. In the clip, Prabhas looks visibly upset with the film, scroll down to take a look:

I don’t think it is an exaggeration to say Prabhas wasn’t pleased with the film at all. Just like the rest of the janta, the film failed to impress the actor. A superstar like Prabhas, who has been a part of India’s biggest historical drama Bahubali, knows what doesn’t work for the Indian audience. 

ICYMI, Adipurush’s teaser was a massive letdown for the actor’s fans. Right after the teaser fiasco, team Adipurush delayed its release to fix the issues with VFX and dialogues. It was earlier set for January release, but it was then pushed to June 16, 2023. Unfortunately, the film still failed to win over the masses or even the lead star Prabhas.

When Prabhas Spoke About Playing Lord Rama

Right from the muhurat shoot, Prabhas invested himself completey in the project. In an interview, he spoke about the same and said, “My approach was to portray this part (Lord Rama) with utmost authenticity and respect, as we have all grown up listening to this story, and there are numerous emotional and spiritual aspects attached to it.”

After giving your all to the project, it is natural to feel disheartened by the massive backlash. Perhaps that’s why Prabhas couldn’t stop himself from taking out the anger on Om Raut. Can’t fault him for this!
