Sudha Murthy took over 2023 with her incredible achievements. She received the prestigious Padma Bhushan for her relentless work in education and social welfare. Her pen game also earned her the Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar for her enchanting children’s stories that are total heart-stealers.

But wait, there’s more! This icon went international, bagging the Global Indian Award in Toronto along with her husband N. R. Narayana Murthy, making them the first-ever couple to win this honour. Sudha Murty donated her award money to the Field Institute at the University of Toronto, because she’s just that generous.
