Meet Dr. Pooja Goswami, Who Overcame All Odds To Help The World With Her Medical Innovations
Dr. Pooja Goswami is a distinguished scientist with a specialization in life sciences, particularly gastroenterology, who completed her Ph.D. at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). She presented her PhD work in the World Congress of Gastroenterology (WCOG) in London. Her research has earned her significant accolades, including the Prof. K.C. Basumallick Award for Best Research Paper at APCON 2011 and the ISG WIN Medicare Award for Best Oral Paper Presentation at ISG 2009. She also showcased her research work in California and Chicago in DDW (Digestive Disease Week) of Gastroenterology in 2016-17.
Additionally, she was awarded a Research Associate Fellowship by the Indian Council of Medical Research. Dr. Goswami’s work continues to advance medical diagnostics and treatments in gastroenterology, demonstrating her dedication to improving care through innovative research.
As a clinical scientist in the Department of Gastroenterology at AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Goswami was deeply involved in the care of her father, who was undergoing treatment for cancer. Determined to address this critical need, she founded Ramja Genosensor Pvt Ltd on April 13, 2018 and this innovation has been materialized in the most prestigious institution in Office India, IIT Delhi.
