He Recreated Their First Date For The Wedding Proposal & It’s Putting Bollywood To Shame!

Even if you are nowhere near to getting married, you would be lying if you said that you haven’t, at least once, thought about how your partner will pop the big question. Everyone loves proposals and they are always special – no matter how simple or elaborate. Recently, Plixxo Super Blogger, Niki Mehra experienced this beautiful moment and in the most beautiful way ever.  

Niki got engaged to beau Sid Madan on February 19, 2020, and the proposal was so full of mush! 

The Love Story

Niki met Sid during London Fashion Week on February 18, 2018. Sid, who is a fashion entrepreneur, asked her out on a date and took her to the highest bar in London. He booked a table by the window from where they could see the entire city and said the magical words. No, not those three magical words. He said, “the view is perfect, the mood is perfect, will you be my girlfriend?”. 

Niki further told us that their London trip was to come to an end just four days after they started dating. Sid insisted on extending the trip because he wanted to drive her down to Scotland and MARRY her. Yep, you read that right! Even though they’d only know each other for four days, it was love at first sight for Sid and he knew she was the one the moment he saw her. 

The Proposal Story

The proposal story is even cuter than their love story. The two were all set to celebrate their two-year anniversary on February 18, 2020, and while Niki thought that they were going on an anniversary date, Sid had something else planned.

He had a limo waiting to drive them around London. The photographers knew their job and so did Sid. He took Niki to the same bar they went to on their first date, booked the same table by the window and guess what he said? He said, “the view is better, the mood is better, will you be my wife?”.

The wedding will take place sometime next year, but till then the couple is excited about this new milestone in their relationship.
