Pink is not just one colour. There’s fuschia pink, bubblegum pink, blush pink, rose pink, salmon pink, and so many more shades of pink! It’s the one colour that instantly brightens you up and I think that pink bridal lehengas just makes a bride look twice as pretty! 🙂
So if you’re still in two minds about the colour you want to wear on your big day, here’s some pink-spiration!
1. Pink and orange
Anita Dongre gives a young and fresh twist to pink by mixing it up with orange and silver. The lehenga and blouse are heavily embroided while the dupattas are light and delicate. The bride wears two dupattas, a gorgeous pink over her shoulder and a contrasting orange on the head.
2. Bright fuschia pink!
Nishka Lulla stunned us all when she made her first appearance as a bride. The fuchsia pink lehenga designed by her mom was paired with a bright blue blouse. Hints of green and intricate tapestry prints were the newest thing we’ve seen in a while.
3. Pastel pink
Ok, I am officially in love with this lehenga. The heavy pastel pink outfit paired with a delicate pastel green dupatta is pretty at another level! The lehenga has intricate silver and gold zari work, and we love the little round latkans on the dupattas border.
4. The desi look
A mix of the brightest of colours, something like this is a fab option when you’re talking about a day wedding. The combination of a grey blouse, pink skirt and a yellow dupatta is absolutely mesmerizing. A mix of bold borders makes this a totally unique piece.
5. The Masaba pink
This picture went viral and for all the right reasons. For her sangeet ceremony, Masaba wore a pink Sanjay Garg creation and it’s the cutest ever pink we’ve seen. The flower motifs, a crop top and a plain, elegant dupatta – this is for the bride who likes to keep it simple yet stylish. PS: You could even add a heavier second dupatta for a more bridal look.
6. Burgundy pink
A winter wedding or a love for deep colours? Try the burgundy pink. This is one shade that looks great on most skin tones and is also one of the hottest colours this season. The dull gold embroidery perfectly compliments the velvet texture of this lehenga.
7. Mixed with beige
I would have loved to wear something like this for my own wedding! The outfit is a mix of so many things. It features a broad border with heavy embroidery, a matching pink dupatta to cover the head and a second beige one to tone down the look. The gold embroidery all over the skirt and an contrasting choli gives this one a look different from the rest.
