All Parth Samthaan fans, we’ve got some good news and some bad news! We’ll start with the bad news–Parth will not make his much-talked-about Bollywood debut with Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, as the rumours claim.
But it was the good news that caught our attention! Instead, Parth will make his debut in Resul Pookutty’s Piharwa alongside Alia. How excited are you about the Kausautii Zindagi Kay actor’s debut?
According to media reports, a source put an end to all the speculations and revealed that Parth will ‘definitely’ do a film with Alia. The source said that Shantanu Maheshwari will be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, adding that Parth has signed Piharwa.
Reportedly, Piharwa is based on a martyr during the India-China war and is set in two eras. Parth will romance Alia in the film, giving us a chance to see this new on-screen jodi’s chemistry! The filming for Piharwa was scheduled to begin in December but was pushed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Resul is apparently in touch with Alia in order to lock the dates.
The source also informed that Parth may sign another web series and finish it before his Bollywood debut. Moreover, Parth is also planning to wrap up his upcoming ALT Balaji web series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu. He had earlier quit the Kausautii Zindagi Kay remake starring Erica Fernandes and Aamna Sharif.
Meanwhile, Alia will complete her work in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra. As of now, Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi has run into legal trouble as family members of Gangubai have filed a case against the director and actress. The film is based on Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. The writer has also filed a lawsuit against Bhansali and Alia.
Well, we can’t wait to see Parth on the big screen! What about you?
