OMG! Uorfi Javed Calls Out Ranbir Kapoor For His ‘Bad Taste’ Comment

Uorfi Javed has taken the fashion world by storm. We love her bold sense of style and the fact that she does not shy away from calling out people who judge her for her outfit choices.

Throughout her journey, Uorfi has garnered a lot of praise for her experimental looks. But of course, not everyone is a big fan of it. Case in point–Ranbir Kapoor, who recently made a comment about Uorfi Javed‘s outfits. In an interview with Humans Of Bombay, when the host asked Uorfi Javed how she felt when Kareena Kapoor praised her, she said, “ I thought it was some kind of a joke. Kareena Kapoor praised me. At that point, I felt Iike I have achieved something. That sadness that I had when Ranbir Kapoor called me in ‘bad taste’ I was like he can go to hell. Kareen has praised me, he’s nothing in front of her. She has praised me, I don’t need anyone’s validation on anything. It is done.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Bad Taste’ Comment

It all began when Ranbir Kapoor appeared on his cousin Kareena Kapoor’s chat show What Women Wants. During one of the segments, ‘Good Taste Show’, Kareen asked Ranbir to tell if the picture she showed him was in good taste or bad taste. She then went on to show him a couple of pictures. One of the pictures was a faceless pic of Uorfi Javed in a risque lilac cutout dress. Ranbir then asked Kareena if it was Uorfi in the picture. To which she replied, “I wish. But I think you know who it is.” To this Ranbir replied, “Is this Uorfi? I am not a big fan of this kind of fashion. But I believe that we are living in a world today that if you are living a world where you are comfortable in your skin…” Kareena interrupted and asked Ranbir to reply if it was in good taste or bad taste. To which Ranbir replied, “Bad taste”

Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, as long as it does not hurt anyone else. Hope the two can sort out their differences soon.
