We reached out to her for innovative Christmas recipes and she didn’t disappoint. Read on for two of here easy-peasy chocolate dessert recipes that can be whipped up in a jiffy:
Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is hard to beat These easy treats are perfect for parties or as a quick snack for those extra festive feels. Read on to know how you can make them:
Ingredients
- Peanut Butter- 1 cup
- Dates- 5-6
- Vanilla essence- 1 tbs
- Dark Chocolate- 1 cup
- Shredded coconut- ½ cup
Method
Step 1: Add peanut butter, dates, vanilla, and salt to a mixer and blend until smooth.
Step 2: Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the shredded coconut
Step 3: Roll this mixture into tiny balls and let them freeze for about 3-4 hours.
Step 4: Now, melt the chocolate using a double boiler and dip these peanut butter balls into it.
Step 5: Spread parchment paper on a tray and transfer these balls to it.
Step 6: To make it interesting, dust off some shredded coconut on the balls. And enjoy!
Chocolate Mousse Wade With Aquafaba & Infused With Tea
We bet you haven’t heard of this one! The recipe is super easy to make and tastes like heaven. (For the unversed, Aquafaba is the viscous water in which chickpeas are cooked or soaked) Toh shuru karein?
Ingredients
- Aquafaba- 1 glass
- Tea bags- 2-3
- Dark Chocolate- 1 cup
Method
Step 1: Heat the aquafaba and tea bags over medium-high heat and remove the pan before it starts to simmer.
Step 2: Transfer it to a bowl and remove the tea bags once it cools down.
Step 3: Beat the cooled aquafaba with an electric blender until stiff peaks are formed.
Step 4: Now, melt some chocolate using a double boiler and add to the aquafaba cream while giving a good mix.
Step 5: Scoop the mixture into glass jars and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight. And voila! Your super easy dessert is ready to be served.

Indian Cheese Twirls
These vegetarian cheese twists are the perfect chai-time snack. Let’s see how you can make them:
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour- 2 cups
- Milk- 1 cup or as needed
- Curd- 2 tablespoons
- Oil- 2 tablespoons
- Mozzarella cheese- 1 cup (grated)
- Cheddar cheese- 1 cup (grated)
- Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves- 5-6 twigs
- Turmeric- A pinch
- Garam masala- 1 teaspoon
Method
Step 1: Prepare a dough using all-purpose flour by adding some milk, oil, curd, and salt to it and leave it to rest (You can also add yeast if available)
Step 2: For the filling, add cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, and some garam masala. You can use any two types of cheese you like.
Step 3: Now, roll the dough into two large thin sheets. Spread the cheese stuffing on one sheet and cover it up with another.
Step 4: Cut it into long rectangles and roll them with both hands to form a twisted shape.
Step 5: Brush with a mixture of turmeric, butter, and milk, and sprinkle some kalonji seeds.
Step 6: Bake the cheese twists in a preheated oven for about 25 mins. Serve hot!
Roasted Chicken Wings
This one is the easiest recipe for a family dinner and can be made in a big batch.
Ingredients
- Chicken wings- ½ kg
- Yogurt- 1 cup
- Garlic & ginger- 1 tablespoon each
- Lime juice- 2 tsp
- Dry spices- as per taste
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil
Method
Step 1: Marinate the chicken by adding yoghurt, minced ginger, garlic, lime juice, salt, and all the dry spices.
Step 2: Toss the chicken thoroughly until it’s well coated with the marinade and refrigerate it for 3-4 hours.
Step 3: Heat up some oil in a pan and slowly add the wings. Make sure to cook them well on medium heat. Sprinkle some coriander leaves and chaat masala while serving hot!
Step 4: Alternatively, you can also make them in an oven or air fryer.
Broccoli & Paneer Salad With Cream Dressing
Sometimes all you need is a bowl of salad. Scroll down for the yummiest one:
Ingredients
- Broccoli- 1 cup
- Paneer- 250 gms
- Honey- 1 tbsp
- Black pepper- as per taste
- Lemon- 2tbsp
- A thousand island mayonnaise
- Garlic mayonnaise
- Hot sauce
- Cream cheese spread
- Coriander leaves
- Herbs & microgreens (optional)
Method
Step 1: Add some ghee in a pan and stir fry paneer and broccoli florets separately on medium heat.
Step 2: In a bowl, add the stir-fried broccoli and paneer. To this, add salt, a tablespoon of honey, black pepper, and lemon.
Step 3: For the dressing, you can use any flavour of mayonnaise that you like. I use the thousand island spread, cream cheese spread, garlic mayonnaise, and some hot sauce.
Step 4: Garnish it with some coriander leaves or micro-greens and serve!
Garam Masala Cheese Balls
Who doesn’t like cheese? These delicious crispy cheese balls make an awesome snack and you have to try them:
Ingredients
- Boiled potatoes- 4
- Black pepper- 1 tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Garam masala- 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves- 4-5 twigs
- All-purpose flour- ½ cup
- Mozzarella cheese- 1 cup (grated)
- Oil
Method
Step 1: Mash some boiled potatoes and add black pepper powder, salt, garam masala, coriander leaves, and any other herb available.
Step 2: To this, add one tablespoon of all-purpose flour or cornstarch and mix well.
Step 3: Grate some mozzarella cheese and fill it inside while making balls of the prepared potato mix.
Step 4: Now, heat some oil in a pan and fry them on medium heat until golden brown.
Step 5: That’s it! Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
