US President, Joe Biden and First Lady, Jill Biden recently hosted the extravagant yearly state dinner at the White House for our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With several high-profile business tycoons and notable Indian and US figures in attendance, it was a big night. However, what grabbed our attention was when Nita and Mukesh Ambani made a stunning entry into the room and received the loudest cheers! While Nita Ambani was dressed in a beige-hued banarasi silk saree paired with pearl jewellery, Mukesh Ambani complemented his wife in a black bandhgala! Here, take a look:

A state dinner is one of the grandest and most glamm events of the White House that honors a visiting head of government or reigning monarch. It is a way of extending hospitality and promotes the tradition of having a meal with the leaders to seal a friendship for future benefits. US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden hosted their third State dinner on June 22nd, and around 400  guests were invited to the event. The guest list included India’s PM Narendra Modi, and corporate executives including Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook, Alphabet Inc.
