Nita Ambani Was Told She Couldn’t Have Kids Until She Conceived Her Miracle Twins

Being one of the richest businessmen in India, Mukesh Ambani’s net worth is over $80 billion! Mukesh Ambani’s wife, Nita Ambani, is unquestionably the driving force behind his success. Mrs.Ambani was only 22-years-old when she married Mukesh. While her husband always aspired to be the biggest businessman, Nita dreamt of being a mother. However, her dreams were almost shattered when she received a heartbreaking update just after a year of marriage. 

While Nita is now not only a mother but also the grandmother of the cutest grandkids, there was a time when she was told that she wouldn’t ever be able to become a mother. Nita was not able to get pregnant at the age of 23, and after undergoing testing, the doctor informed her that she would never be able to conceive. In an old interview, Nita opened up about this.

She said, “A year after I got married, I was told by the doctors that I would never have children. Even when I was in school, I would write long, copious essays titled, ‘when I’ll be a mother.’ And here I was, at the age of twenty three being told that I would never conceive. I was shattered. However, with the help of Dr. Firuza Parikh, who is one of my closest friends, I first conceived my twins!” 

Many still don’t know that Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s oldest children, Akash and Isha Ambani, are twins! However, they were conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), and not naturally. In the past, Isha Ambani has also spoken about this in an interview. She said, “My parents had us after seven years of marriage—my twin, Akash, and I were IVF babies. When my mother finally had us, she wanted to be a full-time mum initially. Later, she went back to work when we were five, but she was still a tiger mom.” 

Now, Isha herself is a mother of twins as well! Isn’t that great? Four years after Isha and Akash were born, Nita got pregnant naturally with her third son, Anant Ambani. As they say, happy things take their own time. Nita Ambani’s desire to be a mother was fulfilled, and she certainly did an excellent job raising her children.
