Shame! This Emotional Video Of Shehnaaz Gill Is Going Viral & Here’s Why It’s Not Okay

Soon after the tragic demise of Sidharth Shukla in September, several distressing videos and pictures of Shehnaaz Gill surfaced on social media. The actress being hauled by the media at the cremation ground is one of the most haunting memories we have of her. It is infuriating to imagine that she had to go through that ordeal probably at her lowest and most vulnerable phase of life. Several celebrities slammed the barbaric action and we hoped that people would learn from their mistakes. Sadly, they did not.

Netizens have once again decided to cross all heights of insensitivity, mock someone’s mental health and create ‘content’ out of her grief. A new video of Shehnaaz breaking down during an interview has gone viral on social media and it’s NOT okay.

A few weeks ago, Shehnaaz was seen promoting her latest movie, Honsla Rakh, along with Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa. A BTS clip from the interview has been doing rounds on the internet where the former Bigg Boss 13 contestant can be seen crying inconsolably. While we don’t know the exact reason for her breakdown, netizens have related it to Sidharth’s death.

According to these viral videos, Shehnaaz cried during the shoot because she was missing Sid. Not just that, users have even edited the entire thing, added a sad background score and her old snippets with the actor from their music videos.

The fact that certain social media pages are sharing this emotional clip for the sake of likes and views is totally unacceptable. Several fans have come out in support of the actress and have slammed these handles for using the video. Here’s what they’re saying:

Creating dramatic content out of someone’s vulnerable moments is extremely distasteful and offensive. These videos should not have been made in the first place and we hope that netizens stop sharing, posting, and creating more such clips.
