Neha Kakkar Has The Perfect Response For Trolls Who Call Her ‘Cry Baby’ & It’s Savage AF!
You may love her or hate her, but will definitely not be able to stop yourself from grooving to her tunes! Neha Kakkar is not just a hit singer, but she’s also Indian television’s favourite judge. The singer is all set to get back on the judging seat for Indian Idol 13. Ahead of that, she will also be seen as a special guest on Superstar Singer 2.
People who follow her judging stint, and even those who do not, are pretty much aware that Neha breaks down quite often and easily on shows. While her fans adore her for portraying her raw emotions and her empathetic side, many have termed her a “cry baby”. Netizens have immensely trolled her, made memes about her, and have also called her fake. But Neha is definitely her own boss and criticism really doesn’t bring her down.
In a recent interview, the singer said that she is emotional and has no regrets about showing her emotions on camera. She said, “I cannot blame naysayers as they may not be emotional like me. For them, I may seem fake. Not too many people can empathise with others’ pain, but I have that side to me. I have that quality in me and I have no regrets about it.”
It’s not just Neha’s crying, but netizens also have an issue with reality shows for promoting fake sob stories. Defending this, the Saki Saki singer said, “It’s not drama. The elements are added to make the show interesting. In this way, viewers form a relatability with contestants. We are just showing on the show what happens in our homes.”
NGL, but it takes some serious guts to showcase your true self on camera. And getting trolled about it can be even worse. But we’re glad Neha owns it like a boss. It may be easy for her to cry, but she definitely helps us furbish through our sad times with her hep music.
