Recently, Riddhima Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor made headlines with a video of them dancing to the song Jamal Kudu. The mother-daughter duo was seen enjoying themselves at a party, with Riddhima even performing Bobby Deol’s iconic hook step from the song. However, instead of using a glass as Bobby did, Riddhima used a plate, adding her own playful twist. What really stole the spotlight, though, was Neetu Kapoor’s stunning necklace, and you won’t believe why!
Dressed in an ivory pantsuit, Neetu Kapoor completed her look with a necklace adorned with exquisite multi-gems. What got everyone talking, however, was how similar her necklace looked to Isha Ambani’s iconic Navratna necklace, which she wore for her brother Anant Ambani’s wedding festivities.
Fans were quick to point out the similarity between the two necklaces with some saying that they look identical. Take a look:
About Isha Ambani’s Navratna Necklace
For her brother’s wedding, Isha chose an array of exquisite jewels and gems to complement her outfits. However, the one piece that truly stood out was her Navratna necklace. Reports reveal that this necklace, adorned with nine rare gems, was especially meaningful, as each stone was collected over the years by her mother, Nita Ambani.
The Navratna necklace set features nine precious stones—ruby, emerald, sapphire, yellow sapphire (pukhraj), diamond, pearl, coral (moonga), jade, and hessonite (gomed)—making it both a timeless and symbolic piece. That’s not it! Each one of them is a one-of-a-kind gem, weighing approximately 40 carats each. However, it was Isha’s unique way of styling the necklace with a pair of mismatched earrings that had our attention. Isha’s Navratna jewellery set was designed by Viren Bhagat.
Well, in all honesty, the necklace Neetu is wearing seems like a replica of the original. However, it looks as stunning as the one worn by Isha and adds a dose of oomph to the outfit.
