The gorgeous Natalia Barulich landed in Mumbai recently to attend the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards. She was papped extensively and why not? Her airport outfit costs a mind-boggling Rs.1.83 crores.
Natalia is an American model, actress, DJ, and ballet dancer with an Instagram following of 4 million. She is also the ex-girlfriend of Brazilian footballer Neymar. In 2021, Columbian music star Maluma got into a fight with Neymar over the model. It went viral, and Natalia soon earned a global fanbase.
Greeted at the airport by actor Sahil Khan, Natalia looked like a million bucks (or 1.83 crores, if I am being specific!)
Wondering how on earth can one spend this much on an airport look? Read on till the very end; I have saved the best for last.
Layi Lakk Te Louis Vuitton!
Co-ords are ideal for long flights. I am happy slumming it economy class in my Zara steal. The model chilled out in first class (one presumes) in a silk Louis Vuitton monogram pyjama set. The set retails at an eye watering Rs 4.6 lakhs.
A pyjama suit or a trip to Europe? What would you choose?
Her(Mes) Highness
Natalia carried a white Hermès special order Birkin that retails for Rs 24.5 lakhs. For normal humans, this is easily the cost of a full wedding!
Now Hermès does not deign to sell bags online—you can not even buy a Birkin in-store. To be granted the privilege of shelling a small fortune on ONE bag, you need to buy many very expensive items from them. This builds a history. And then, if you are VERY lucky, they might “offer” you one. If this sounds crazy to you, I agree. But it is also true.
Resellers sell Birkins at a high premium. If you can afford one, you can buy one from this luxury reseller website – Luxury Promise. I will not be jealous. Pukka promise.
Keeping the Hermes theme going, the model walked out of the airport in the cult Hermès Oran Sandals which will set you back by a cool Rs 55,000. For shoes!!!! If I were her, I would forget about walking in them and hold these precious gems in my hands!
“Van” Of A Kind Jewellery!
The necklace and earrings Natalia wore are pretty enough. Their price is anything but, as they are not Sarojini finds but are from the illustrious house of Van Cleef & Arpels. The 10-motif mother of pearl necklace sells for approx Rs 8 lakhs, and the earrings are relatively affordable (not!) at Rs 3.6 lakhs. Yes, let the gasp out!
Brace Yourself For The Bracelets!
Bracelet stacks are in. Everyone knows that. I wear mine all the time. So does Natalia. While mine cost a few thousand rupees at best. Her’s are obviously MUCH more valuable. For most people even one of these bracelets would be impossible to buy, Natalia stacked a super-expensive set of five!!
Two of them are iconic Cartier LOVE bracelets. They can be bought online or in-store. The classic gold one goes for Rs 5.5 lakhs and be prepared to spend Rs 23 lakhs for the diamond-studded one if you wanna get super fancy.
Sticking with the Cartier theme, she added further interest with the sought-after Cartier Juste un Clou bracelet that costs Rs 6.3 lakhs. If I am being honest, it is my fave. Now where do I have that kind of spare change lying around?
If this was not enough, Natalia went double extra by stacking on two more Van Cleef vintage Alhambra bracelets. Clearly, Natalia is definitely loyal to her brands! The yellow gold beauty retails at Rs 5.5 lakhs, and the mother of pearl bracelet can be yours for a chill Rs 4 lakhs approx. Do let me borrow them if you are splurging.
Oh Lord, The Rings!
The glamm stacking did not stop at the wrists, and Natalia stuck to her favourite French luxe brand. Not one, not two, but three Cartier rings graced the model’s slender fingers. The Cartier Juste un Clou ring will cost you Rs 3.5 lakhs. She also wore a classic LOVE band which retails for about (just!) 1 lakh. To up the glitz quotient, she stacked it with a diamond-studded band that sells for Rs 4 lakhs. Coz’ why not? If you have it, flaunt it is clearly her motto.
WATch The F?!
If I had Natalia’s watch, I would always be “watching” my back! She rocked a Patek Philippe beauty.
The watch is impossible to buy. No matter how much money you have. You need to get on the waiting list which is decades long. To be on the waiting list you need to buy extensively from Patek Philippe. And then you wait. And wait. And pray you get ‘lucky’. Are you seeing a pattern here? I am!
A very well-informed and well-to-do fashionista tells me that Natalia’s Patek can be yours for a whopping Rs 90 lakhs! I cannot even imagine that kind of money being spent on ONE watch. If you ever buy one – you have a new BFF for life in me.
Phew, I am done. This is how you can spend Rs 1.83 crores and change on an airport look.
I thought I would add a “get the look for less” section for you, dear reader. Especially as you have made it this far. But TBH, I just can’t.
Instead, here is a MyGlamm lipstick that will give you the same luscious pout as Natalia. Luxury does come at all price points, thank God!
