And while your days are packed with all wedding related stuff, you’ve still pretty much got your nights to unwind, relax and indulge in back-to-back… MOVIES! Yup girls, snuggle up in your blankets, order in some DVDs and watch these 10 amazing movies that are all about the wedding. Just to get you into the feel, you know!!!

1. Bridesmaids

Annie’s best friend Lillian just got engaged and has asked her to be the maid of honour. And shall we say that Annie is not really great when it comes to planning bachelorettes? Or helping her bride-to-be BFF with other aspects of wedding planning. Throw in a party of (not-the-best) bridesmaids and you have movie packed with entertainment and fun. It’s the perfect light-hearted watch that you need, to de-stress and unwind.

2. 2 States

This just had to make it to our list! The love story of a Punjabi guy and a Tamilian girl who struggle to make their families like each other. From Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s incredible chemistry to those funny little moments in the story, 2 States is always a treat to watch. And of course, the wedding scene in the end – it’s absolutely breathtaking!

3. Father Of The Bride

An utterly sweet movie, it revolves around the emotions a father goes through when his little girl grows up and he realizes that it’s time for her to get married. But don’t worry, it’s not all emotional. The character of the father played by Steve Martin is hilarious almost all throughout! You’ll want to go give your dad a tight hug after you watch this. 🙂

4. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Because it’s essential! And because the eternal love story of Raj and Simran still makes our heart skip a beat even though we’ve watched it like a million times! This is the story of a young homely girl falling in love with free-spirited Raj. It is the story about fighting for the one you love, it is about winning hearts and about living life.

5. 27 Dresses

Jane loves weddings – so much so that she’s been a bridesmaid 27 times! But never a bride herself. The romantic comedy is all about Jane playing the perfect bridesmaid until her sister is engaged to the man Jane secretly loves. Relationships, family and drama, this movie has got it all!

6. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Naina, Bunny, Avi and Aditi – four friends, one big fat wedding and a romantic affair like no other! Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is all about falling in love, living life and of course attending your BFF’s larger-than-life wedding. A few good laughs, some tears and a filmy drama that’ll only leave you wanting for more.

7. The Wedding Planner

Mary is a wedding planner. She plans the perfect weddings for couples but hasn’t been on a date herself in the last two years. And then she meets Steve, the perfect guy! But life’s not so easy, or is it? This is the story about finding love at the wrong time, but, for the right reason. And ooh, it has got Jennifer Lopez – isn’t that reason enough to watch the film?!

8. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

Because Varun and Alia are a treat to watch in this super cute rom-com. From experiencing a typical shaadi wala ghar to romancing chup chup ke, this bollywood flick is the perfect light-hearted drama you need after a long and tiring day.

9. The Wedding Date

Kat is single and the maid of honour at her younger sister’s wedding. But just before the D-day, the anxiety gets to her and she hires a male escort to be her date at the wedding. And before she knows it, the strictly professional setup turns into something she never ever expected!
