Mrunal gave such an impactful performance that fans started calling her Sita. And that isn’t exactly working in the actress’s favour ‘coz fans seem to be confusing her on-screen character from her real personality now!
The Sita Ramam actress recently shared a series of pictures from her beach vacay and gave her fans a glimpse of the picturesque location. However, her pic in an electric blue two-piece swimsuit ended up ruffling some feathers.
Mrunal looked stunning in her two-piece suit by Papaaya Swimwear and her charming smile elevated the OOTD. But fans were disappointed that their ‘Sita’ chose to wear a bikini. Some went to the extent of saying that she was the last person they expected to see in a swimsuit.
Indian audiences have always had a hard time when it comes to disassociating on-screen characters from their real personas. But what’s more concerning is that we still like to put women in boxes. Why can someone who played a dignified princess not wear swimwear? Does wearing a bikini make you less dignified? What is this messed-up logic?
I hope Mrunal pays no heed to these trolls and keeps on blessing our feed with more vacay pics.
