Dhadak has been making all the right noises ever since Karan Johar took to Twitter to unveil the cast of the film. It has had the fans’ interest as they’re excited to see debutants Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry.
Today, the trailer of the film released and it has only doubled the excitement to watch it in the theatres. With young talent like Ishaan and Janhvi playing such mature and ethnic roles, the film is sure to touch many hearts.
At the trailer launch in the afternoon today, most from the Kapoor family came in support of Janhvi. There’s no denying the fact that she misses her mother, veteran actress Sridevi who passed away about three months ago, even more, today. On being asked about her mother, she had a lump in her throat while answering the question.
Also, a video of Janhvi and sister Khushi surfaced online where they’re seen sharing an emotional moment as they realise their mother’s absence. Khushi can’t help but cry she misses her lovely mom, Sridevi.
What caught our attention was that cousins Harshvardhan Kapoor and Mohit Marwah came onstage to hug their sisters and console them as they sobbed. Don’t we all need such supportive brothers?
Helmed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, Dhadak is an adaptation of Marathi movie Sairat and is slated to hit the screens on July 20, 2018.
