Before The Ambani Wedding, Mark Zuckerberg Attended Another Indian Shaadi With His Wife

The Ambani family made waves when they hosted the crème de la crème of the world for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations. Who can forget the extravagant event they held in Jamnagar, inviting top leaders and international stars? While Rihanna stole our hearts with her performance, Mark Zuckerberg was a pleasent surprise. Who would’ve ever imagined witnessing the CEO of Facebook at an Indian wedding?!

Here’s the twist though—the Ambani wedding wasn’t the first Indian wedding Mark attended. Mark and his wife Priscilla Chan were previously in India for another high-profile wedding. Back in 2010, Mark attended Aditya Aggarwal and Ruchi Sanghvi’s big fat Indian wedding in Goa.

Mark was there with his wife Priscilla Chan and they even gave a dance performance for the soon-to-be wed couple!

Aditya Aggarwal and Ruchi Sanghvi were among the first engineers at Facebook. Aditya joined the company in 2005, and during his six-year tenure, he became Facebook’s first Director of Product Engineering. He was also credited with developing Facebook’s search engine.

Shortly after their wedding, the couple left Facebook to start their own company in 2010, Cove – a modern collaboration software. Despite leaving, they maintained their connection with Mark. In 2012, Cove was acquired by Dropbox, and Ruchi went on to become Dropbox’s VP of Operations. Today, Aditya serves as Managing Partner at South Park Commons and is also on the board of Flipkart.
