Sahi Pakade Hain: Makeup Looks We Want To Steal From Our Pyaari Angoori, Subhangi Atre!

One of the most popular shows on TV right now is Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. Thanks to my mom, I now know all the characters on the show by name and even picked up a couple of their dialogues. As much as I adore Saumya Tandon aka Anita Mishra’s stylish personality and go-getter attitude, my heart goes out to Shubhangi Atre’s character, Angoori Tiwari. I love how innocent, kind and lovable her character is. Her naive statements make me giggle and her energy is infectious on screen. I think she’s the REAL star of the show! Another thing that caught my eye was her makeup. It’s bright, it’s loud, it’s so Angoori! I think anyone who likes bold eye makeup and lipstick would want to give Angoori’s iconic makeup look a try.

Here are 5 makeup tips we’d like to steal from our pyari Angoori, Shubhangi Atre.

1. Those Sexy Cat Eyes!

Ladies, agree with me or not, I think Angoori’s eye makeup is on point. The cat eye look totally works with her character and is in fact, pretty easy to replicate. Begin by drawing an angular line from the outer corner of your eye. Then, slowly draw a triangle shape by connecting the top of the triangle to the upper lash line. Then, fill in the triangle with a kohl pencil and later apply a regular eyeliner as you normally would. You can later apply kajal on your waterline to make your eyes pop. Before I forget, coat your lashes with mascara and you’re done!

2. Creamy, Glossy Lips Are Her Thing

If you’ve been wanting to take a break from using matte lipsticks, then I feel you should try Angoori’s lipstick style. Her pout in almost every episode looks creamy and glossy. To make your lips to look like hers, you have to prep your lips up first. Start by scrubbing your lips and once they feel smooth, you can apply a coat of lip balm. After a minute or two, apply a creamy lipstick. If you’re yet not content with the shine, you can add a touch of gloss to make your pout stand out.

POPxo Recommends: NYX Professional Makeup Extra Creamy Round Lipstick (Rs 475)

3. Browsie Wowsie!

Let me tell you, a woman with groomed and structured brows means serious business. Angoori may not have thick brows, but her fine, sculpted ones make for a visual treat too. If you’re out of brow gel, a mascara will do the job of filling your eyebrows perfectly. Just comb your brows in an upward direction and you’ll instantly notice how much fuller and thicker they begin to look.

POPxo Recommends: Faces Ultime Pro Eyebrow Pencil (Rs 499)

4. Her Rosy Pink Cheeks

If you take a closer look at Angoori’s makeup, her blush is one of the first things you’ll notice about her! It’s pink and it looks natural. One way to achieve this look is that after you moisturise your skin and apply foundation, dip your brush into a powder blush container and apply the product to the apples of your cheeks in circular motions. Yep, it’s as simple as that.

POPxo Recommends: M.A.C Satin Powder Blush – Fleur Power (Rs 2,000)

5. That Glow Though

The glow on her skin is not very bright, but subtle and soft. One way to get the exact glow is to mix an illuminator into your liquid foundation and apply it to your skin. It will give your complexion a radiant, dewy glow. You have to try it to believe it *Wink*

POPxo Recommends: L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator – W101 Golden Dore (Rs 765)
