This Cruelty Free Lipstick Fulfills My Last & Final New Year’s Resolution

I love animals. I always have. You’ll see a barrage of cats ambush me for food and love each time I step into my building’s premises. I’ve even rescued two with my mother. Fostering comes naturally to me, and I’m almost always helping people connect with vets and rescuers. I love all of it.

But I believe there’s a disconnect between what I do and the kind of choices I make as a consumer. Have you heard of tallow by any chance? It’s a fatty by-product procured by boiling an animal’s carcass. Tallow is derived from slaughterhouses, zoos, labs, shelters, and even roadkill, and is later added to lipsticks. That’s just one example. Guanine, for instance, is derived from fish. Their scales are scraped right off their bodies post-slaughter to add to lipsticks and lip-glosses. I didn’t know any of this, and some of my products’ labels mention these ingredients at the back of their packaging.

That’s why I vowed to make a change in 2023. I’m always going to research a product’s background and ingredients before I decide whether to purchase it or not. Imagine my excitement when I found a range of lipsticks that truly does live up to its vegan, cruelty-free proposition! Thanks, MyGlamm! Because your LIT Liquid Matte Lipstick range is unreal.

And they’re….well…free-of-cost. All I had to do was fill out a survey — which took, like, 10 seconds — and I had my lippie delivered to me within the week. Before I tell you how I claimed my lippie, here’s what you need to know about this skincare-infused, buttery-smooth formula.

Why You Should Claim MyGlamm’s LIT Liquid Matte Lipstick For Free

They’re Non-Toxic And Lip-Loving

This is where skincare meets makeup. Since lip care is a routine in itself, you want to make sure everything you’re applying on your lips is non-toxic and safe. These lip colours, from the deepest of browns to the lightest of pinks, are infused with Moringa Oil — so your lips are always hydrated, supple, and healthy. Studies suggest that this derm-approved oil has antimicrobial, antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, and anti-ageing properties — from fading spots and combating acne to moisturising and defending the skin against pollution, you’re going to want to see this ingredient in your product.

They’re Long-Lasting With A Rich Colour Payoff

These pigments promise your lips an opaque, smooth, and crease-free application. From the pinks out of Paris Hilton’s closet to the blues from mermaidcore aesthetic, this range displays a hundred shades – with each being distinct in its own way. You’ll be spoilt for choice!

Opaque And Budge-Proof

They’re smudge-proof and transfer-proof too, so you can go about doing your thing without having to worry about how good your lips look – even after that delicious meal you have.

Cruelty-Free And Vegan

Not only are these lipsticks from the brand’s LIT range — their most-coveted range yet — they’re Shraddha Kapoor’s favourites, and have been tested on Sidharth Malhotra (yes, you heard us)! So you know they’re really cruelty-free and vegan, because, hey, he’s the biggest advocate for animals, and animal testing is a no-no for the brand.
