Are You Getting Laser Treatment? Lindsay Lohan’s Hack Might Make The Process Painless

Lindsay Lohan’s much-awaited comeback has brought with it not just a Christmas-themed rom-com — but a fool-proof hack for anyone opting for an in-office laser treatment soon. 36-year-old Lohan claims she’s ‘obsessed’ with lasers, and is currently big on ‘Morpheus 8’. While many in Hollywood have attested to the efficacy of said procedure (broken down ahead), socialite Kim Kardashian claims it is pretty ‘painful’. So — how does Lindsay minimise the pain? Find out!

Lindsay Lohan Is Back, & Not W/O A Quick Hack

Morpheus 8 is a minimally-invasive treatment endorsed by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Chrissy Teigen. The procedure tightens the skin by combining the powers of radiofrequency and micro-needling over a couple of sessions. It contours the body, and tackles problem areas like wrinkles and scars too. Most users see results in about three weeks, but dermatologists recommend coming in for a minimum of three sessions.

Morpheus 8 isn’t quite ‘laser‘, but it works similarly, and it can cause discomfort and pain just like any other laser treatment. Both methods can diminish the appearance of lines, spots, and wrinkles, and endow you with an overall contoured, sculpted look over time. The difference lies in the fact that lasers only penetrate the surface of the skin; while technologies using radiofrequency penetrate three skin layers in one cycle.

Kim has testified to the procedure’s tummy-tightening abilities too. Though the procedure is effective, the socialite has said that it’s painful as well. That’s where Lindsay comes in — a recent subscriber of the treatment. According to Lindsay, applying some numbing cream a little before going in for the treatment goes a long way in reducing pain during the procedure. The actress recommends asking your doctor to provide some of the ointment to your beforehand — which you can apply at home an hour before leaving. This applies to laser treatments too.
