If Khushi Kapoor’s Dress Were A Movie, It Would Be A *Friller*

It’s been a week since Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s Italian engagement at Lake Como. However, the pictures are still pouring in in instalments and naturally, it’s keeping us on our toes. 

With the who’s who of Bollywood partaking in the Ambanis’ revelry in Italy, it’s easy to say there are more than a few style ops we’ve been showered with since the event. Wedding season is almost here and we’ll take all the inspo we can get, amirite? So, yesterday, when we spotted the best of the lot, it was like we hit the champagne brunch jackpot. 

Celeb kid, Khushi Kapoor, attended the Ambani engagement alongside her Bollywood starlet sister, Janhvi. The black-tie brunch outfit we’re so ‘frilled’ by is this beautiful floor-length dress by Indian designer, Supria Munjal.

It’s a frill overload and we’re kinda ODing on it. The piece resembles a tiered brunch cake, with layer after layer of flirty frills decorating the length of it. It looks as delicious as one, too, doesn’t it? 

With a combination of sheer polka dotted fabric and textured cotton, Khushi Kapoor’s brunch pick is fun with a touch of vintage. Our favourite part about it? The strappy criss-cross neck, of course. Khushi kept her jewellery simple and classic, balancing the print and frill extravaganza with double-ended pearl earrings and metallic bracelets.

It’s one of a kind, isn’t it? As is Khushi. The Bollywood star kid, styled by Esha Amin for the engagement, was one of the best dressed among all the famous faces there. A picture’s worth a thousand words, so, we deem it best to just show you rather than describe her looks.

 ‘Wow’ is all that seems apt to describe this caged halter-neck sequinned dress. With cut-outs at the midriff and a dangerously high slit, Khushi hits the nail on the head with this Falguni & Shane Peacock gown. Thanks for the Cocktail party inspo, Khushi.
