We all have come across some famous biographies of Bollywood actors such as Rishi Kapoor, Rekha, Shashi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and many more. It’s become the new stepping stone to cross after one has achieved a fairly phenomenal amount of fame and success in the Indian film industry (or, if they’re just really famous). Now, it seems we might just get to add a nother name to that ever-growing list of autobiographies coming out of Bollywood. The one who seems only to eager to be penning down her own memoir is none other than Katrina Kaif. Known to be one of the top stars of the Indian film industry currently, she recently exprerssed her interest in writing her own biography and sharing her Bollywood journey along with the ups and downs till date in the film industry.
To a newswire, Katrina said,”I educated myself(about the industry) but I might write a book(on it), so I won’t waste the answer now. I seriously might write a book.”
She started her career in the film industry back in 2003 with Boom, after which many criticized her acting then. But after all these years, she has surely improved her acting skills and given many hits such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and many more. In these 15 years of her journey in the film industry, she clearly has come through all the highs and lows.
“You need to have a balanced attitude to life, need to accept that failures, hardships and hard times-for me definitely- they are the biggest teachers. They (failures) are the biggest steps. Once you get there, then you reach higher. You need them. Hardship and failures taught me to evolve and reach the next step,” Katrina Kaif added in her interview to the same newswire.
“I am constantly trying to educate myself by reading about people’s journeys, taking care of my mind and making sure I am evolving as a person and not just accepting whatever thoughts come to my mind,” she said.
She also mentioned how she never had a plan-B when it came to her career, as she always wanted to be an actor. “Having a plan B is like accepting failure. I have never had a plan B for anything. You can say that is not the correct way to go (about something) maybe,” she reasoned.
If this does pan out, we will all be eagerly waiting for the supposed biography.
