Karisma Kapoor Is A *Superhero* In This One In A Million Sabyasachi Blouse

‘Tis the season to go all out when it comes to your desi outfits, and for good reason. The Bollywood veteran wore a signature Sabyasachi-print saree in a festive yellow with a vibrant floral print. She kept her hair straight (so Lolo) and her makeup fresh and dewy. There was also barely any jewellery, which is probably why we can’t take our eyes off her gorgeous saree in the first place. But Sabyasachi’s creation does come with a few pleasant surprises to keep things fresh and modern.

One, the slim ivory belt with the iconic Sabya tiger emblem that cinches Karisma’s waist to perfection. It also offers a visual break from the yellow and the floral print.

Two, and most important, Karisma’s unique blouse. At first glance, it’s a charming well-tailored top matching the saree. But look closer, and the magical detail that came with this Sabyasachi blouse becomes clearer.

The blouse has a cape at the back! No wonder that pallu looked more dramatic than expected. We love this little Bollywood-style surprise and think it makes for a standout Diwali outfit inspiration.
