Bebo and Saif are one of Bollywood’s most-loved power couples. They’ve have both had glorified careers in B-town, filled with highs and lows and lots of gossip. And while Saifu seems to be keeping it on the DL through the lockdown, Kareena Kapoor just celebrated 20 years of being in the film industry. In a recent interview with the BBC Network, Bebo got candid about her life. She opened up about her apprehensions on playing Poo in K3G to 20-year plans, Bebo bared it all. She also spoke about the impact Saif Ali Khan has had not just on her personal life, but also on her career.
In the interview, Bebo talks about life after marriage. She and Saif tied the knot in 2012 & she reveals that Saif’s had a massive impact on her life, her choices and her career. He taught her how to make better choices, says the Veere Di Wedding actor. “The best thing I’ve learned from Saif is being comfortable with myself and not always be running after money, success, fame. He’s taught me to love the greater things in life, that there’s something greater than money, fame and success, which I probably didn’t know like family, love, calmness, peace of mind, or reading a book, or sitting and having a conversation, not about work and competition.”
When asked where she sees herself in 20 years, Kareena admitted that she would love to settle in London. Although it doesn’t coincide with her career plans, she would love to be a Brit in the future. “London is my favourite city in the world,” says Bebo. Does that mean we get to see her in some Hollywood movies? While she admits she would be great in a Hollywood movie, she would rather prefer being in a Bollywood movie, “I can be good in a Hindi movie also,” said the actress. Bebo also admitted to not being able to stay away from her family for so long, like our OG desi girl Priyanka Chopra does.
Talking about the year they got married, Bebo reveals she was offered Talaash and so was Saif. However, he turned it down and then Aamir Khan stepped in, “I think at that time Saif wanted to do a more commercial kind of a movie,” revealed Bebo.
