Kareena Kapoor Just Proved That Smokey Eyes & Nude Lips Work Better Together!

Kohl-rimmed eyes, defined brows, and statement nude lips- a quick scroll through Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Instagram account, and you’ll notice that this is her statement look. Just like her character, Poo, she all exudes the ‘kaun hai yeh jisne dobara mudh ke mujhe nahi dekha‘ energy and we love her for it. From fashionable ensembles to makeup looks, Bebo has been the ultimate ‘it’ girl for decades and continues to be so. Love her style? Well, you’re in the right place because we’re breaking down her go-to beauty look i.e. smokey eyes and nude lips.

Kareena’s Latest Post Proves That Smokey Eyes Are Going To Be Forever On-Trend

Step 1: For A Makeup Base Like Bebo

Prep your skin with a hydrating serum and moisturiser. Use SPF if you’re going to be out in the sun. Then, use a light base product instead of a conventional foundation. Using a CC cream will do the trick. Buff it into the skin with a brush or damp sponge. For more coverage, apply a creamy concealer under the eyes and on any scars or blemishes, you may want to cover.

Step 2: Brows Before Boys!

For strong brows, draw short strokes to mimic your natural hairs with an eyebrow product. To fill them in more, use a brow powder with an angled brush to fill in any gaps. Follow it up with a brow gel to set them in place.

Step 3: Sorry, Did Someone Say Drama?

For the eyes, apply a neutral brown cream eyeshadow all over the lids and use your finger to blend along with the eye socket. Then, tight line your upper and lower lashline with a black kohl pencil – a gel formula will stay put for longer. Run the same pencil along the lower and upper lash line, and smudge using a pencil brush.

Step 4: Can’t See Haters Over My Lashes!

Complete the look by applying some mascara to the upper and lower lash line. To make them look extra fluttery, you can also add gossamer falsies or stick on a few short individual lashes in the centre and outer corners of the eyes

Step 5: For A Natural-Looking Sculpt

Warm up the face with a bronzer. Use a big, fluffy brush to sweep it along the periphery of your face: the hairline, cheekbones, and jawline. For a more sculpted look, take the product on a smaller brush and blend it right under your cheekbones, close to your ear. Make sure all edges are blended to perfection.

Step 6: For A Gorgeous, Sheer Glow

Pop a rosy blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend seamlessly.

Step 7: Lip Balm To Add Hydration And Shine

Apply a sheer lipstick or tinted lip balm. Finish the look by dusting some loose powder along the T-zone and on any area that tends to get greasy through the day.

Effortlessly chic!
