Sab Theek? Kangana Ranaut’s Recent Comment On Karan Johar’s Movie Is Making Us Hella Curious!
Bollywood has released a couple of amazing movies in the past few months and Shershaah is definitely one of them. Whether you are an emotional person or not, you cannot watch this film without getting goosebumps and teary-eyed. It’s a biopic of Captain Vikram Batra, an extraordinary man, who died in the line of duty during the Kargil War. Sidharth Malhotra played the lead role and did a fantastic job. Not just him, every actor in the movie, including Kiara Advani, who played his love interest, did complete justice to their roles. Honestly, it’s one of the finest war movies we have ever seen. And, it seems that Kangana Ranaut agrees with us.
The actress took to her social media handle recently and showered praises for Shershaah. She talked about Captain Batra and how his death impacted her as a child. Take a look:
She shared a pic of the war hero on her Instagram story and wrote, “National Hero Vikram Batra was a Himachali boy from Palampur, very popular and loved soldier.” Kangana hails from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, and she recalled the time when his death devastated the people of her state. She added, “It slit through our hearts. As a kid, I remember being tormented for days… #shershaah”
Kangana also praised Sidharth for his amazing performance in the following story and wrote, “What a glorious tribute @sidmalhotra.” Not just that, she congratulated the whole team of Shershaah for doing a fab job.
She wrote, “Congratulations to entire team, it was a big responsibility and you all excelled 👏 👏 👏 #sherhshaah” The movie is produced by Karan Johar and Kangana just complimented the filmmaker. Well, it’s quite surprising, given that she had once called him the “flag-bearer of nepotism” and “movie mafia” on Koffee With Karan 5.
They both had a major fallout after her controversial stint on the talk show, but it seems that things are finally getting better between the two… Or is it?
Well, only time will tell if Kangana and Karan have finally buried the hatchet. Meanwhile, we all can watch and re-watch Shershah on Amazon Prime because it’s fab!
