BB OTT 2 Contestant Jiya Shankar Wore An Outfit Costlier Than Her Salary On WKV!

Bigg Boss is a reality show that produces not only entertaining contestants but also some budding fashionistas. This Bigg Boss OTT 2, the female contestants are putting their best fashion game forward. While we loved Akanksha Puri‘s glamm looks and Manisha Rani’s traditional ensembles, it was Jiya Shankar who stole the show last Weekend Ka Vaar! The actress who was last seen in the Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi film, Ved, went all out with her weekend outfit that was worth more than her weekly Bigg Boss salary!

Jiya wore a gorgeous black saree from the shelves of Rohit Bal. The Kashmiri designer is known for his quality fabrics and intricate craftsmanship. The ensemble featured a corset-style blouse that came with a sheer high neck and voguish floral detailing. This blouse was unlike the mainstream short saree blouses and almost looked like a sexy top that can also be worn with jeans. The lightweight saree was modishly draped, ensuring that the blouse was the centre of attention.

Most people aren’t aware that these outfits are pre-styled for the contestants in the house and hence, they look so flawless. After all, styling can make or break an attire. Fortunately, Jiya Shankar’s stylist, Anamika Jain did a fabulous job. The look was subtly accessorised with ruby earrings and a dainty diamond bracelet from Tipsyfly.

While Jiya looked like a dream in the outfit, it was the price tag that shocked us. The saree is almost worth Rs.5.5 lakhs! It is one of the costliest outfits ever worn by a contestant on Bigg Boss. As per sources, Jiya gets paid around Rs 3 lakhs every week for her presence on the show. This means her Weekend Ka Vaar outfit was almost worth her two weeks’ salary in the house!

We don’t know about the game, but Jiya Shankar knows exactly what she is doing when it comes to fashion!
