Crushed under the weight of an elaborate lehenga and the stress of 10,000 other bridal preps, it is rather rare to see an Indian bride truly enjoying her wedding functions, right? I mean no matter how much of a #Bridechilla someone happens to be it almost never that you see a bride having the same amount of fun at her wedding as her cousins or, say, other guests. Think about it! This is one of the reasons why we are constantly awaiting our cousins’ weddings while dreading ours.
However, it is 2020, all of that is passé and we have found you a bride who managed to have crazy fun at her own wedding with some brilliant ideas and a very smart choice of wedding outfits. Jeevika Tyagi tied the knot with Aryan Chauhan earlier this year in a fun Goa ceremony and we just can’t get over her bridal aesthetics. Here’s everything we love about this bride:
The Mehendi Outfits & All Those Disco Vibes
For the mehendi function, Jeevika and Aryan opted for complimenting jumpsuit and dungaree, respectively. The USP of their look? A hearty smattering of sequins that made their mehendi outfits the most disco wedding costumes of all time. Dressed in a magenta pink Zara jumpsuit, Jeevika definitely had us both surprised and impressed with the fuzz-free outfit that looked every bit festive while giving her the scope to have loads of fun. She completed the look with hot pink heels and a maang tikka, the head accessory definitely standing out and yet somehow bringing the look together. Noticed those ballon sleeves and the cinched waist? Love!
The Fuzz-Free Haldi
For her haldi ceremony, Jeevika chose the breeziest look of all times and opted for a butternut yellow kurta and matching tulip pants. However, true to her style, Jeevika did add a statement element to the look by contrasting her silver sequinned hairband and juttis with plain gold bangles. Love the attention to detail in each one of her looks and also, the novelty with which they have been conceptualised!
The Sage Green Lehenga & That Bespoke Veil!
Sticking to her minimal aesthetics, Jeevika opted for a sage green Sabyasachi lehenga that looks as light as a bridal lehenga can possibly get. To add to its ‘Jeevika element,’ the bride paired the lehenga with a custom made, trailing veil. However, she did go a little OTT with the jewelry to keep up with the overall bridal vibe and we approve!
Also, just in case, you have been underestimating the bridechilla bride levels here, you NEED to read what the bride has to say about her wedding look: “Before my wedding, I watched my carbs for a month -for the first time in my life. I believe in workouts and not diets. Carbs and sugar are my old buddies…… I had the heaviest breakfast 🥞 right before this picture was taken because I really liked this place’s breakfast 🍓 So much for the flat abs<everyone talks about all the beautiful things and beauty regimes before the wedding…I was bloated as I walked down the aisle 😌my mom already feared my looks as I didn’t go for any beauty treatments she recommended😅I worked till the last day of my ceremonies 🥳”
We say, cute!
