We Just Got An Exciting Update On The Final Cast Of Jee Le Zaraa!

It’s only once in a while that we get to watch films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. This is exactly why cinephiles have been eagerly waiting for Jee Le Zaraa. They have already witnessed the magic that Zoya Akhtar created with ZNMD and are eager to experience it all over again. However, of late there have been a lot of uncertainties with reports of key cast members walking out of the film. People are eagerly waiting to hear a verdict on the final cast of the Jee Le Zaraa and guess what? We have an exciting update!

In a recent interaction with a media platform, Reema Kagti made a major revelation about Jee Le Zaraa. While talking about her production house Tiger Baby, the screenwriter shared, “It has been a busy time at (production banner) Tiger Baby. We are also doing some documentary stuff. We are hoping ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ will come out soon. There’s also a film that Zoya is doing. ‘Supermen of Malegaon’ is a film for Amazon. ‘Jee Le Zara’ will go on floors with the same cast.”

Yup, you read that right. It appears that Priyanka Chopra is back on board for Jee Le Zaraa and this update has us super excited. Earlier in June 2023, we heard many reports about PC leaving the film owing to other work commitments. Earlier a source close to the production house even lowkey confirmed the rumours. They said, “Priyanka was not able to commit the dates to shoot in 2023 due to her Hollywood commitments and she asked Farhan if they could shoot for Jee Le Zaraa next year. While Farhan was fine with it, Alia Bhatt is already committed to shooting for Ramayana and Baiju Bawra in 2024, so it didn’t work out. It’s true and a very unfortunate development that PC will no longer be able to do the film, but there’s no bad blood between her and the team.”

Well, all’s well that end’s well. We are stoked to hear that PC is back on board and can’t wait for more updates on the film. Here’s manifesting a 2024 release date!
