Janhvi, Ananya & Other Celebs Turn Chef For This Show & We Can’t Wait To See What They’re Cooking!

We loved Star VS Food Season 1 that premiered on April 15 on Discovery Plus. It was amazing to watch Kareena Kapoor share her secret pizza recipe and Malaika Arora cook her special fish curry. Also, Karan Johar facing kitchen disasters was relatable AF! On a lot of occasions (that we don’t want to remember), we too have sat like him with an ice-pack pressed to our face and disappointment written all over it. Well, it was fun to watch our favourite B-town celebs put their chef’s hats on and try something interesting in the kitchen. Obviously, the show was an instant hit and left us wanting more. Well guess what? That’s exactly what we’re getting!

Discovery Plus has dropped the first promo of Star VS Food Season 2 on its YouTube channel and the new star cast is making us hella excited! Take a look:

In the promo, you can see actors Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Nora Fatehi have a hard time in the kitchen. On the other hand, rapper Badshah and comedian Zakir Khan explore their culinary skills quite enthusiastically.

We are loving how the Dhadak actress channelised Salt Bae while sprinkling seasonings over her dish. In case you’re wondering, she can be seen cooking a Korean dish in the video. While talking about her experience, Janhvi said during a recent interview that she enjoyed herself thoroughly despite having multiple ‘oops’ moments. She said, “The experience of cooking a Korean dish was unparalleled as I was on the knife’s edge this time unlike enjoying my meal in a restaurant. Korean is one of the most challenging cuisines to prepare, but Chef Basu’s passion encouraged me to attempt even after so many blunders and ‘Oops’ moments in the kitchen!”

BTW, we really hope that Ananya doesn’t get a job in this kitchen. Well, it’s only because we love to see her act. While talking about her cooking experience, she recently said, “My sister Rysa bakes and knows how to cook. I knew this won’t be easy for me as my parents have never seen me in the kitchen, unlike my sister. So here I am, taking up this challenge and ready to shock my family with my hidden talent, maybe.”

We can clearly see the stars giving their best in the promo and now, we cannot wait to see what they’ve prepared. Also, we are really curious to find out what’s making Anil Kapoor emotional in the video. Well, we will have to wait till September 8 for that and we’re sure that it’s going to be every bit worth it.
