Father’s Day is the time to remind your dad what he means to you. Most people go all out for the day and our favourite Bollywood stars are no different. However, sometimes even your most well-intended post can trigger a troll attack. That’s exactly what happened with Janhvi Kapoor. On Father’s Day, the actress shared a sweet poem on dads but made a silly mistake.
Janhvi shared a story on the ‘Gram in which she talked about her film Mili and how the character’s journey would have been incomplete without her father’s support. She wrote, “Post copy: Such is a father’s love it sees no bounds A very #HappyFathersDay to all the fathers out there.” Take a look at the post:
It appears that Janhvi forgot to check the caption provided to her by the team and pasted it as it is. I am sure she didn’t mean to add ‘Post copy’ with her poem on Father’s Day. It was just a mistake! While Janhvi quickly deleted the story, nothing can escape the watchful eyes of Reddit. A user posted this and the post invited a bunch of comments.
“Exactly. All that poem etc post that she had a while ago as well. If you’ve written a poem for your mother will you not remember it without needing to read it on the phone? Nobody is saying she doesn’t miss or love her mom but everything is curated to make her appear a certain way. She has not written this post either. Not one word I bet,” commented one user.
Another Redditor wrote, “This is why captions and instructions have to be sent as separate messages. To avoid exactly this copy paste fails.”
Well, which one of us has not made a mistake when it comes to copy-pasting a cool caption on the internet? Everyone is entitled to small mix-ups. So, let’s not judge Janhvi so harshly and cut her some slack.
As a fellow Instagram klutz, I hope Janhvi doesn’t let the comments bother her!
