After Their Engagement, Isha Ambani Visits Siddhivinyak Temple With Anand Piramal And Family!
It’s just been a month since Akash Ambani, the eldest son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani got engaged to Shloka Mehta, the daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta. And now, Mukesh’s daughter Isha Ambani is following in her twin brother’s footsteps and is also set to tie the knot to her childhood friend Anand Piramal. He is the son of billionaire Ajay Piramal who happens to know the Ambani family for almost four decades. Now, that’s a really long time, we say! Good enough to be soulmates.
Unlike his brother-in-law Akash, Anand Piramal went the old school way and proposed to his long-time friend Isha Ambani this weekend at a temple in Mahabaleshwar. The couple celebrated the occasion followed by a grand lunch, with their their respective parents and extended families.
For those who don’t know much about Isha’s fiance, Anand Piramal is a graduate of Harvard Business School, and is the executive director of Parimal Enterprises. He also founded two start-ups after finishing his business school.
After the official proposal, the Ambanis, accompanied by Anand Piramal and his family visited the Siddhivinyak Temple on Sunday night. A temple visit is a ritual that the Ambanis follow whenever there’s a good news in the Ambani household.
While, India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani is the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Ajay Piramal is also someone who doesn’t need an introduction. The very known and popular Piramal Group of companies, is owned by Ajay Piramal. The company ranges in everything from pharmaceuticals to financial services and real estate financing.
The details of the marriage are yet to be announced but we know for a fact, that whenever it happens, it’s going be THE wedding of the year! Afterall, it’s the Ambanis.
A hearty congratulations to Isha and Anand!
