Is This Why Deepika Padukone Won’t Be Attending Ranbir & Alia’s Wedding? Here’s What We Know

Our days are extra special these days all thanks to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. According to the grapevine, the two are finally tying the knot next week and we’re having so much fun keeping up with the shaadi rumours. After the wedding venue, functions and guest list, there’s a fresh new rumour going around. And it has a Deepika Padukone connection. 

Remember when we told you guys that Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh might be invited for their intimate nuptials? Well, if rumours are to be believed then we won’t be seeing the popular jodi at the #RaAlia wedding. A little birdie tells us that Deepika has decided to not attend the shaadi as Ranbir wasn’t present at her wedding.

Apart from #DeepVeer, we hear that Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, and Karan Johar have been invited. We hear that the shaadi ki tayariyaan are in full swing. Apparently, Ranbir and Alia’s functions will start on April 13 and go on till April 17. “During this period, the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies are scheduled as well,” a source close to the development revealed.  A little birdie also tells us that the couple will be throwing a lavish reception party for their friends sometime after the wedding. “While the wedding will be a family affair, the couple will throw a reception party for their industry friends at the end of April,” shared the same source. 

We really hope the wedding rumours are true this time as we cannot wait to witness Ranbir and Alia ki shaadi after all these years. Fingers crossed!
