Is Shalin Bhanot Emerging As The Star Player Of Bigg Boss 16?

After watching the last Weekend Ka Vaar episode, we were certain that it was over for Shalin Bhanot. As Sumbul Touqeer’s father repudiated the Naagin actor for misleading her, it looked impossible that he’d be able to overcome this setback. And yet here we are. Watching one Bigg Boss 16 episode after the other with Shalin taking the lead. He has enjoyed the most screen time in the last few BB 16 episodes and from where we see it, things are only gonna get better for Shalin. Here’s why we feel that he is emerging as the star player of Bigg Boss 16. 

Pyaar Mohabbat Dhokha Hai….

Everyone loves a heady Bigg Boss 16 romance but guess what’s even more exciting? A twisted love story! Currently, there are three potential couples in the BB 16 house but it is Shalin and Tina Datta who are getting the maximum screen time and for obvious reasons. To begin with, many in the house believe that two women have feelings for the actor. Just last night, Manya Singh told Bigg Boss that she is certain about Sumbul Touqeer’s infatuation with Shalin. Meanwhile, we watched Tina and Shalin go from enemies to friends to more than friends—all in the same episode. To top it all, we heard many contestants talking about how Tina is just using him for the game. All of this has been fuelling the viewers’ anticipation and keeping them hooked to this ‘will they, won’t they’ narrative.

He Rules All The Tasks 

For someone with a Roadies background, we expected Shalin to be serious (and aggressive) about tasks. Safe to say, we were right! In the latest ration task, he stood out as the best-performing contestant and managed to score some fancy stuff for his room. Similarly, we have been seeing a lot of Shalin in all the captaincy tasks as well. 

Everyone Is Talking About Him

From Gautam Vig to MC Stan, we see all the housemates discussing Shalin behind his back. And while they might make it sound like they are looking down on the actor, it isn’t difficult to tell that they are also threatened.

It would be interesting to watch how Shalin ki kahaani unfolds in the upcoming days. Can’t wait to see how he grabs the most screen time in tonight’s episode!
