Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is one of the finest movies ever made in Bollywood and you cannot change our mind. Every character in the film is larger than life and there are several scenes that are imprinted in our hearts forever. We still love to watch the sophisticated Raichands and an equally loud and vibrant Anjali. Poo was as iconic then as she’s now and Laddu will always be one of the nicest characters ever. Also, the bond between Rahul and his mom is so pure and beautiful that it can still make us cry.

Well, we’re sure that you have guessed by now that we’re obsessed with this family drama. If you’re too, then we have something that can make you hella excited. Karan Johar has recently dropped a video on his Instagram handle that has BTS scenes from his upcoming movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. One look at this clip, and we bet that you will be instantly reminded of K3G. Take a look:

KJo announced the release date of the movie and wrote in the caption, “After 7 long years, it gives me such joy and gratitude to be here and announcing that my next #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani, a love story at its heart with the soul of family values – is releasing on 10th February 2023.”

Honestly, we can already see several similarities between RARKPK and K3G and nope, we aren’t complaining. Here’s everything that has us convinced that both the movies are going to be similar in so many ways:

Major Drama Alert!

Jaya Bachchan walking towards the door with a pooja ki thali in her hand to meet Shah Rukh Khan in K3G is one of the most iconic scenes ever. Is KJo planning to recreate the same in his upcoming movie as well? We think so! We can see the actress holding a thali in the clip and wonder if she will have superpowers to know about her son’s actions in advance this time as well.

Richie Rich

The grand mansion, beautiful chandeliers and stylish interiors are hinting that KJo is planning to introduce us to a lavish family in the movie and we’re ready! We cannot wait to see their extravagant celebrations and festivities already.

Shawa Shawa

Talking about celebrations and festivities, did you notice the dance rehearsals in the clip as well? NGL, but it has been quite a long time since we saw a song like Shawa Shawa on our screen. To watch a family dance together and have a fun time is probably what all of us need right now in our lives. We hope that KJo will give us just that.

That Parivarik Pyaar

Karan’s description of the movie and the entire clip has us convinced that RARKPK is going to be a family drama and we’re so excited. While Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will be playing the young couple, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra will be playing their guardians. We are sure that we will be watching some outstanding performances in the movie and honestly, we don’t want to wait two more years for it.

While K3G is a movie that’s one of its kind, we’re pretty sure that we will fall in love with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani as well.
