Alia Bhatt–Ranbir Kapoor and Kiara Advani–Sidharth Malhotra’s weddings garnered crazy attention. From Alia’s intimate ghar ki shaadi to Kiara’s lavish Jaisalmer shaadi, both actresses made sure their D-day were nothing short of spectacular. Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor – ‘It Was Emotional’ 

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14, 2022. It was an intimate wedding that took place at their residence in Palli Hills,  Mumbai. It was attended by close friends and family members, including Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karishma Kapoor, and more. 

Talking about the day, Siddharth shared how Alia wanted their wedding pictures to have a personal touch. He shared “Alia, the brief was very simple, that it is a very private affair, and she wants to keep it very personal, so the photographs and videos should be very personal, candid, real.“

He further revealed how Ranbir picking up his father, late actor Rishi Kapoor’s picture was an emotional moment for everyone present there. “The picture of Rishi Kapoor was kept in almost every ceremony, as if he was present. Even during the wedding ceremony, the picture was kept. It was a very emotional moment, even though people were dancing, but this was an emotional moment.”

Did you know Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor gave a surprise performance for Alia at their pre-wedding festivity? Siddharth revealed, “She didn’t know about the performance by Neetu mam and Ranbir, who joined her later”

Kiara Advani & Sidharth Malhotra – ‘It Was Purely Candid’

Kiara and Sid’s wedding was one of the most anticipated ones. Both the stars successfully (almost) managed to keep everything under wraps until their D-day. They finally got hitched in Feb 2022, and it was magical. Their lavish wedding took place at Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer, and was attended by their family and friends from the industry.

Talking about their wedding pictures that took the internet by storm, Siddharth shared, “This is a beautiful part of the ceremony itself, where, as part of respect, they are supposed to fold hands and look into each other’s eyes.“

Sid and Kiara left their fans gushing after they shared their wedding pictures. It was Kiara kissing Sid on the cheeks that stole the show. Talking about that pic, Siddharth shared, “This picture was a result of us putting them together and waiting. It is not something that we asked them to do, so you can call this a candid picture.“

Even though it’s been a while, these celeb wedding pictures still give me butterflies!
