1. Saree Blouse Material In Rs 500!
When it comes to shopping for a wedding, who doesn’t make a trip to Chandni Chowk! All you need is the right shop and good bargaining skills. I bought a sequin material from the cloth market in Chandni Chowk which sells almost all kinds of cloth items at wholesale rates. You could ask any shopkeeper and they will guide you to the place. After a lot of bargaining, I bought a metre long sequin cloth for Rs 500. To my luck, the shopkeeper himself recommended a good tailor who stitched it for a 1,000 bucks. I kept the blouse simple with pretty tie-up doris at the back which I also bought from Chandni Chowk. I paired this blouse with my mom’s net saree for a beach wedding in Goa – it was perfect for a summer wedding. – Saachi Bamba, Editorial Coordinator, POPxo
