Mubarakan is all set to release on July 28, 2017, and if the trailer and the songs are anything to go by, this one is going to be a laughter riot we will never forget! But aside from that, let’s just talk for a second about how glam Ileana D’cruz looks in the movie. Here is a play-by-play on how you can recreate Ileana’s glam and super sultry bronze eye makeup look that she sports in the song Hawa Hawa. This is a twist on a classic smokey eye with a bronze palette. So read on to ace this look like a total pro!
Step 1
Start by prepping your under eye area by dusting on a heavy layer of loose powder to catch the fallout of eyeshadow when you apply it. Next use a small piece of tape on the corner of your eye starting at the outer corner and going all the way till the end of your brow. This is just to ensure a sharp line.
Step 2
Apply an eyeshadow primer or concealer on your eyelids and set it with powder for easy blending.
Step 3
Take a medium brown eyeshadow and blend it into the crease, and all over your lid.
Step 4.
Now, blend dark brown eyeshadow into your crease and towards the outer corner of the eye. Be careful to not apply too much product to the inner corner.
Step 5
Take a bronze eyeshadow with gold particles and cover your lid with it. Starting a little away from the inner corner and ending right at the end of the eyelid. Use a dense brush for this so you can get maximum pigmentation.
Step 6
To add a bit more glam, use loose glitter pigments in gold and dab it on the middle of your eyelid right above the bronze eyeshadow, but this time focussing on the highest point of your eyelid. If the loose pigments are a little difficult to work with, spray setting spray or primer on your brush so it holds the pigments.
Step 7
Take your trusty liquid or gel eyeliner and draw on a wing tip. For the perfect wing tip, work in short strokes to create an outline and then fill it in.
Step 8
Add 2 coats of a volumising mascara to finish the look. If you are feeling extra fancy, add some glam faux lashes for added oomph. Dust off the powder in your undereye area and take the tape off.
Step 9
Do the rest of your face as you would regularly, but keep it simple and matte. Do not forget to highlight the higher points of your face for the photo op. Add a glossy or matte red lip to complete the look.
Step 10
For your hair take a 1 or 1.2 inch curling iron and curl the bottom half of your hair in one direction. Do not open up the curls or run your fingers through them until they cool. Once you are done, spray on some mild hairspray, flip your hair over for high volume and run your fingers through them for an effortless vibe.
