Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding is all over the internet, but I’ve got to give it to the couple for successfully keeping all inside videos and pics under wraps. They gave their fans a glimpse with the dreamy pictures clicked by Joseph Radhik, but there are absolutely no dance videos or guest stories doing the rounds. I did, however, spot a bunch of photo strips on Instagram. There was a photo booth at the wedding and I’m loving the fun, candid photos that came from it.
Photo booths are perfect for the sangeet night and the instant pics make for great wedding favors. I found more such unique ideas to make your festivities memorable.
1. How About A Friendly Match?
An intimate destination wedding totally calls for an afternoon of games. Let both the sides battle it out in tug of war! And if I had to pick my absolute fave party game, I’d say beer pong. This is also a great way to break the ice between the ladkewalas and ladkiwalas!
2. A Personalised Affair
These personalised macarons have my heart for how adorable they look! You can add these to your dessert bar or even use them as wedding favors. And it doesn’t have to end there. From getting your wedding hashtag printed on paper straws to customized wine glasses, there’s a lot you can do.
3. Wedding Favors Your Guests Will LOVE!
For an intimate mehendi ceremony, this idea is just perfect. The trinkets for women and pocket squares for men make for great gifting options. But you know what I love more? The presentation! Not only can your guests choose something to match their outfit, but a gift wall like this makes for a super cute decor element.
4. The Oh-So-Pretty Petal Bar
There’s nothing like too many flowers at a wedding and I want to see more such petal bars at 2023 shaadis. You could set this up at the entrance for the guests to pick up on their way in. Or, you could place it near the stage so there’s a petal shower for every special moment. Just imagine the gorgeous pics you’ll get!
5. Fun Facts For A Fun Time!
Add a touch of personalisation and humor to your celebrations by printing out fun facts about the two of you! It’s also a great way to give the guests a glimpse of your personality. Cute na?
Weddings are not made special by how much you spend on the venue and decor. It’s the little details, fun activities and personalised elements that make all the difference. And of course, all your special people who come together to celebrate you!
