It’s not always about going extra with makeup. Makeup has a lot to do with bringing an entire look together. And that’s exactly what makeup artist Manjari Singh did with Huma Qureshi at Cannes 2018. Yes, I woke up to Huma looking nothing like she did in Gangs of Wasseypur! And I say that in a good way.
Huma Qureshi dialled up her style quotient and looked next level ethereal in a white corset gown by Varun Bahl. The intricate detailing on the bodice paired with a cape made for a perfect summer look.
I love it when makeup artists think of the weather before they come up with a look. Since it’s summer in Europe, the slick bun made for an elegant choice that also left the hair off her neck.
I love red lips just as much as the next girl but I’m partially biased to the versatility of a pink lipstick. I think her perfect pink pout coupled with nude eyeshadow and false lashes added a certain amount of elegance to her look.
Looks like Huma had the perfect afternoon in Cannes.
