It’s not every day that two powerhouses in the beauty space come together! Both, Huda Beauty and Kay Beauty have reshaped the way we think about makeup with their unique identities and vision. Where Kay Beauty is all about catering to the modern Indian woman with its elegant and minimal formulations, Huda Beauty is known for its highly pigmented formulations and runs synonymous with glamour.
While both brands are founded by celebrities in their own right (Katrina Kaif and Huda Kattan), their target audiences may differ slightly. However, the two girl bosses joined forces and talked about their journey with makeup in a YouTube Video and even concluded by doing each other’s signature makeup! And while I’m being speculative here, I can’t help but imagine how iconic a collaboration between the two would be.
Picture this: A line that blends Kay Beauy’s love for inclusivity with Huda’s knowledge about global trends. A range that’s perfect for both minimalists and maximalist. Intense pigments in multiple flattering shades, catering to the Indian skin tone. Multi-tasking products that offer buildable coverage that can transition easily from day to night…
Maybe I got a little carried away but rightfully so. Just last month, in a GRWM reel, Huda even applied a liquid lipstick from Kay Beauty to complete her look…teasing us perhaps?
