1. Fresh Tomato Pulp

Tomatoes are loaded with nutrients and antioxidants that helps your body fight many deadly diseases like cancer. It’s also known to improve eyesight, digestion, heart rate and blood circulation. However what you didn’t know about tomatoes is that they have bleaching properties too. This very property comes useful while dealing with dark circles. Here’s how to use it to your benefit!

Step 1 – In a bowl, mix one teaspoon of tomato juice and one-half of a teaspoon of lime juice together.

Step 2 – Stir till both mixtures blend well.

Step 3 – Using a ball of cotton, gently dip it into the mixture, and apply it on your dark circles.

Step 4 – Let the mixture sit there for a short span of 10 mins.

Step 5 – After 10 mins, gently wash it off with lukewarm water.

2. Magical Raw Potatoes

Like tomatoes, potatoes also help maintain blood pressure and heart rate. What it also interestingly does is lighten dark circles and gets rid of the puffiness around your eyes. Here’s how to put nature’s gift to good use-

Step 1 – Extract the juice of one or two chilled potatoes.

Step 2 – Take a ball of cotton, and dip it into the mixture.

Step 3  – Put the wet ball of cotton on your eyelids and leave it there for 10-15 mins.

Step 4 – Using cold water, wash the juice off your eyes.

3. Precious Almond Oil

Almond is not only good for your hair, but for your skin, and for treating dark circles as well! The vitamin E in the almond oil is what works wonders in this case. Here’s how to perfectly put it too use –

Step 1 – Apply a little amount of almond oil over your dark circles before hitting the sack.

Step 2 – Massage well till it blends into your skin.

Step 3 – Let the oil rest on your skin for the entire night

Step 4 – In the morning, wash it off using cold water.

4. Handy Tea Bags

Tea has high levels of caffeine and antioxidants in it. That’s why you feel fresh after consuming it. Another great use of the tea bag is that it helps reduce puffiness and leaves your eyes feeling relaxed. Here’s how to use it-

Step 1 – Keep two green tea bags in the fridge.

Step 2 – Remove them once chilled and place both tea bags on your eyes.

Step 3 – Leave it there for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4 – Gently remove the bags from your eyes and wash your eyes with cold water.

5. Earthy Turmeric

Turmeric is not only a useful ingredient in your kitchen, it also makes a great resource for personal use. When it comes to treating dark circles, it acts an antioxidant and helps minimize the dark circles under the eyes. After using it, you will notice that it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. Here’s how to make the ideal use of it-

Step 1 – Keep pineapple juice in a bowl.

Step 2 – Add two teaspoons of turmeric into the juice and mix well.

Step 3 – Mix till it forms a paste.

Step 4 – Apply it over the dark circles and leave it for 10 minutes to dry.

Step 5 – Wipe the paste off using a damp cloth.

6. Tender Cucumber

Cucumbers are known to have cooling and skin-lightening properties. That’s why, they make an excellent remedy for dark circles. Here’s what you gotta do!

Step 1 – Cut a cucumber into thick slices.

Step 2 – Place the slices in a plate and keep it in the fridge to cool further.

Step 3 – After 30 odd minutes, remove them from the fridge and directly place the chilled slices over the affected area.

Step 4 – Wash your eyes after 15 minutes and dab dry.

7. Natural Rose Water

It’s fresh, it’s soothing, and it’s a good remedy to use to eradicate dark circles from your skin. It also has mild astringent properties which works as a great skin toner. Here’s how you can make the best use of rose water-

Step 1 – Soak two balls of cotton in a bowl of chilled rosewater.

Step 2 – Leave them there for 15 minutes

Step 3 – Place the wet cotton patches on the affected area, and leave it for 10 minutes.

Step 4 – Wash it off with lukewarm water.
