Holi rituals for newly married couples include preparing a puja thali with essentials such as haldi, kumkum, kalash of water, chandan, rice, flowers, gulal, jaggery, and coconut.

Holi is the day when people from all walks of life are enthusiastic about playing with colours. People smear each other’s faces with colours, throw water-filled balloons, and dance like there’s no tomorrow. It’s the perfect occasion to resolve issues with people and make up for anything wrong that might’ve happened in the past. And of course, there’s a lot of dance and bhaang to go with it.
