Facepalm: Hindu Mahasabha Calls Coronavirus An Avatar To Punish Chinese For Eating Non-Veg

While China (the most populated country of the world) continues to grapple with the fatal coronavirus, the Hindu Mahasabha President has one of the most illogical things to say about why the virus attacked the Chinese. On one hand, the scientific community is having a hard time finding an antidote, the Hindu Mahasabha, on the other hand, has a bizarre logic that will blow your mind.

The National President of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Swami Chakrapani, called coronavirus an “avatar to punish the Chinese” as they eat non-vegetarian food. “Corona is not a virus, but avatar for the protection of poor creatures. They have come to give the message of death and punishment to the one who eats them,” said Swami Chakrapani.

Well, he did not stop there. He went on to draw an analogy with Lord Narsingh, who took an avatar to kill a demon. Similarly, he said that the Chinese were being “taught a lesson” to not “torture animals” and then later turn into vegetarians. And guys, this wasn’t the end. He also made some startling and bizarre claims, suggesting a way out of this epidemic.

According to media reports, Swami Chakrapani has proposed that the Chinese president Xi Jinping should “create an idol of Corona and seek forgiveness” and all non-vegetarian Chinese populace should “pledge of not harming any innocent creatures in future, then the anger of Corona will come down”. Not just that! He made a rather embarrassing statement, adding that if the people in China follow his prescription, the avatar would “return to its world”. Dear Swami ji, Corona is no god, it’s a VIRUS. Now let me explain further, Virus is an infective agent that is too small to be seen by light microscopy, and is able to multiply only within the living cells of a host. May be open a dictionary before you make such statements.

He had another weird statement to make, explaining why Indians are immune to the coronavirus. The Hindu Mahasabha Chief said that the virus wouldn’t attack Indians since we (according to Chakrapani) believe in God-worshipping and Gau Raksha. No Swami ji, I am Indian and I pretty darn scared. What if coronavirus comes to India, it actually hasFYI, so far, three people have been tested positive for the virus in the state—also the reported total for India. In the recent past, state authorities quarantined nearly 2,800 people. Kerala withdrew ‘state calamity’ status on coronavirus, which the state had earlier declared, in a sign of winning the fight against the virus. And this isn’t because we are god-worshipping. This is because Kerala has faced the dangerous Nipah virus earlier. And this time the state decided to strengthen such training programmes when news of the coronavirus first appeared.

According to the latest figures, a total of 69,268 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed and over 1,670 people have died. Out of these, 1,666 deaths have been reported from China alone. So Swami ji, one can be God-worshipping, sure. But that alone doesn’t cure a deadly virus!
